What is Amelia Space Technologies?
Amelia Space Technologies turns satellite data into commercial intelligence using geospatial AI. Founded in 2023 and based in London, Amelia builds the Planetary Intelligence Platform, a composable model of Earth that answers questions about specific places.
The work is supported by public space and innovation programmes: the UK Space Agency Accelerator (September 2024), the European Space Agency’s business incubation programme (May 2025), a UK Space Agency Climate Services grant (September 2025), and an SBRI DAERA Blue-Green Algae grant (September 2025). Amelia won NASA’s Sustainable Business Model Challenge in August 2025, and was selected for DARPA’s LunA-10 Enablers Workshop in February 2024.
Amelia Space Technologies Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 15243937. The clearest picture of the work is the Lough Neagh case study, monitoring harmful algal blooms on the UK’s largest lake.
